In St. Petersburg, Russia, during 5-7 October 2010 the 10th Jubilee TRANSTEC 2010 Exhibition and the Second International Conference «Future of the Russian Ports” will take place.
In 2008 the Conference and Exhibition were organized within the program to celebrate 20 years since the foundation of ASOP. The Event welcomed the high-level speakers and delegates from the International Association of Ports and Harbors-IAPH, the European Sea Port Organization-ESPO, ILO UN Port Sector and the Shanghai International Port Group among many others.
Russian ports have continuously been the key factor for the economic and foreign trade development of the country during the last 20 years. The Russian ports form the basic element which connects sea, inland waterways transportation, short-sea shipping and which influences directly the railway, road and air transportation of Russia.
